Leeds Bread Co‑op is an independent, worker co‑operative bakery based in Leeds. We specialise in slowly fermented, hand‑crafted sourdough bread made with organic ingredients and traditional methods. Founded in 2012, we’ve grown from a small team of passionate bakers into a thriving co‑operative business rooted in community, sustainability, and quality. As a worker co‑op, we’re collectively owned and democratically run by the people who work here. That means we all share responsibility for how the bakery operates – from shaping dough to shaping decisions. Our aim is not just to bake great bread, but to build a fairer, more resilient food system that puts people and the planet first.

Work With Us
Our bakery shop is open on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday from 8am to 4pm, and on Saturday from 9am to 1pm.
